Join us in the studio for a creative afternoon of transforming a simple paper lantern into a one-of-a-kind piece for your home.

You’ll be given your own paper lantern to decorate using colourful paper, cut-out shapes, patterns and decoupage techniques. We’ll show you how to work with the curved surface, play with colour and composition, and create a design that feels completely your own.

Whether you have a clear idea in mind or want to experiment and see where it takes you, there’s no right or wrong way to do it. Choose your colours, cut your shapes, layer your papers and create something that reflects your style.

Please note: This is a lantern decorating workshop, a lightbulb and cord are not included.

What to expect at Create & Sip

Our workshops are all about having fun, trying something new and making something you’ll actually want to take home. You don’t need to be artistic or have any previous experience — we’ll give you a demonstration and guide you through the techniques, then you’ll have plenty of freedom to make your piece your own.

Bring a friend or come solo and meet some fellow creatives. There’s no pressure to make it “perfect” just come along, switch off for a while and create something you love.

Important Information

Age: 15+
What to bring: Just yourself — all materials are provided
Drinks: Your ticket includes complimentary tea and coffee, cold drinks are available to purchase in the studio. 

Cancellation & rescheduling

Due to the nature of our events and limited availability, all bookings are non-refundable.Bookings may be rescheduled once, provided we receive notice at least 72 hours before the scheduled event by emailing info@createandsip.ie. Requests to reschedule within 72 hours cannot be accommodated and the booking will be forfeited.

If you can no longer attend, you're welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or family member at no additional charge.

Create & Sip reserves the right to cancel, postpone or make changes to an event where necessary. If we need to cancel or restructure an event, affected customers will be contacted and offered the option of transferring to an alternative date or receiving a full refund.

Photography

We do our best to keep photography and video to a minimum. However, please note that all guests who attend consent to being photographed and filmed, which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes.
